Daily sales reconciliation workflow

A fifteen-minute routine for ops leads to keep channel totals aligned with orders.

Daily reconciliation is not about perfection. It is about catching drift while the underlying orders are still easy to find.

Step 1: Pull channel totals

Gather gross sales, refunds, and fees per channel for the prior day. Use the same timezone your finance team uses for cutoffs.

Step 2: Match to orders

Tie payouts and platform reports to order lines in your workspace. Note exceptions (partial refunds, split shipments) in one log everyone can see.

Step 3: Hand off to finance

Share a single summary with variances explained. Finance should not need to re-export orders to trust the ops number.
